Box Tops

We need your box tops! Don't miss the Great Box Top Round Up the week of May 17. Box tops bring in more than $800 to the Foundation.

Before you throw away the package of many common grocery and household items, check the box top for the Box Tops for Education logo.  The logo is commonly found on cereal boxes, baking supplies and certain frozen vegetables and dairy products. Review a list of participating products on the Box Tops for Education website.

The Foundation receives 10 cents for every box top! Give your box tops to your child’s teacher or drop them in the Foundation’s box in the school office.

Spell-a-thon

The 2010 Fourth Annual Spell-a-Thon was held on March 24. More than $11,000 was pledged in donations for our outstanding spellers! Please be sure to send in your pledge payment - we have not yet received about $2000 of the pledged donations.

5th Grade Tile Program

Fifth graders will have the opportunity to decorate a ceramic tile at the end of the year. After they are glazed, the tiles will be mounted on the concrete wall near the portable classrooms.

In 2009 – the first year of this event – about 40 fifth graders created their tiles. This event raised nearly $350 in support of 2008-2009 initiatives.

For information about the Tile Program, contact Mary Price.
